The Pinnacle Series is the premium collection of wines within the Ross Hill Wines range. These wines best display the excellent sub-regional terroir of the Orange region and the most outstanding parcels of wine from each vintage. All Pinnacle wines are handcrafted and matured in some of the world’s best French oak.
The wines within the series are elegantly broad ranging – from the ‘Blanc de Blancs’ sparkling, with fragrant notes of lemon and brioche, the aromatic cool-climate white wine varieties of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris and the French style Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The beautifully balanced cool-climate reds such as Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc will have red wine lovers coming back for more.
The award-winning ‘Griffin’ leads the pack, having achieved a 97 point score for its debut 2012 vintage from Australia’s most recognised wine reviewer, James Halliday, in his Halliday Wine Companion. The Griffin is a traditional Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
