The cool climate characteristics present themselves in the flavours and aromas of this delicious oil. Unfiltered and full-bodied in flavour with a delightful aroma of cut grass. The taste moves on to a peppery finish. Perfect as is, drizzled over crisp salad leaves or fresh, crusty bread. A deep golden colour, five different olives are used to create this unique blend, they are:
Frantoio; Corregiolo, Leccino (origin Italy): all three varieties produce small and medium fruit with high yields, they have a high oil content with green, herbaceous notes and a light fruity finish.
Manzanillo; Arbequinq (origin Spain): Both are medium sized fruit, with a rich green colour and a robust, nutty flavour profile.
The olives are hand-picked and immediately cold pressed to ensure the highest quality produce. This EVOO is bottled locally in Canowindra.
